The stretching exercises have provided relief to my stiff neck/shoulder and improved my posture. The plans of walking and cross-trainer programmes have helped me to lose some weight, improved my overall fitness, and give me a level of confidence I haven't had before.

My goal was to complete Ironman Wales 2013 having previously never done more than a standard distance triathlon. Bill was instrumental in assessing my weaker areas physically, and constructing a training plan to fit in with my busy work and social life. The key to keeping to an efficient training plan was a spreadsheet which Bill wrote and updated weekly (daily!) using GPS data from my Garmin 910xt. This allowed us to keep an excellent record of sessions and progress. IM training is a gruelling process and I struggled with niggles and running related injuries along the way… Bill was always on hand to talk through any concerns, tweak the plan and aim to keep me fit enough to push on through training, building rehab and management into my program along the way. Our weekly meetings/phone calls were productive and motivating as was his (almost daily) support through email and GPS analysis.

On a personal level Bill is a great and personable guy who seemed to take great care and pride in working with me - he was as passionate and motivated as I was to get me through to the start line. Bill even kept in touch when on holiday in the Canadian wilderness to ensure my final weeks of preparation were up to scratch. I completed the IM Wales event (2.4mile sea swim, 112 mile bike, and 26.2 mile run) in 13hrs 11mins; a huge achievement, especially considering that at many stages injuries meant that I thought I would be lucky to make the start line let alone the finish! Bill's training plan, support, and rehab along the way definitely got me there on race day! Needless to say, I would highly recommend Bill as a Personal Trainer, particularly for multi-disciplinary endurance events.

Just a quick note to say thanks for all your hard work and guidance in treating my persistent problems.
Until recently, I have been running for many years, averaging around 140 miles a month, competing regularly in middle distance races and would consider myself fairly experienced. When I came to see you things had been getting progressively worse over a period of 18 months, I was uncoordinated, had poor balance and perception which had begun to affect me even when walking. At this point I had stopped running altogether. My initial consultation revealed several issues that you addressed with a personal exercise plan. Weeks later things had improved and, after subsequent re-assessments and plan progressions (and lots of time and commitment on both our parts - I never missed a day doing the exercises) things have improved dramatically and I am now walking and running normally again. Again, a huge thanks for helping me return from a very frustrating period, your knowledge, professionalism and commitment I would recommend to anyone.
